Autumn Activities in Cleveland

Cleveland in Autumn

Last Updated: September 8, 2017

Our favorite time of the year is upon us, fall! We love when the weather starts to cool off and the leaves begin to change. It reminds us of all the fun fall activities in Cleveland that we love to do every year. We’ve compiled a list of just a few of the things we like to do when fall rolls around below. Have any activities that you enjoy that we missed? Send them our way - we’d love to check them out!

Yankee Peddler

The Yankee Peddler Festival is in its 45th year at Clay’s Park in Canal Fulton. It’s a festival set in pioneer times – all of the vendors sport traditional pioneer outfits! There are plenty of craft, artisan, and food stands. Staying true to the pioneer era, there is no electricity – one of the cool quirks of this festival! All food stands don’t have access to electricity, meaning the food is cooked over open fires – making it extra delicious. A great weekend festival to attend, Yankee Peddler has a ton of great fall craft items to check out and awesome food to eat! Dates: September 9-10, 16-17, 23-24. Click here to visit their website.

Mapleside Farms

Located in Brunswick, Mapleside Farms not only has views, but a ton of fall activities. Every year, they change the design of their corn field maze (this year its Cleveland sports themed!). They have a ton of fall festivals beginning in September. Two of our faves include the Johnny Appleseed Festival (September 23rd and 24th) and The Great Pumpkin Fest (October 7thand 8th). They also have a pumpkin wall – great for those fall photos! Click here to visit their website.

Patterson Fruit Farm

Patterson Fruit Farm is a great option for apple picking. Take a hay ride and then head over to the apple trees to see your options for picking. They also have a lot of great bakery options to check out! Heading there with family? Patterson’s has a Family Fun Fest that runs from September 16th – October 29thClick here to visit their website.

Medina County Fall Foliage Tour

In its 49th year, the Medina County Fall Foliage Tour is held in a different region of Medina County each year. It’s a driving tour with multiple farm and activity stops along the way. Check out several farms around Medina County and see all they have to offer! Hay rides, apple picking, pumpkin picking, and food stands are just a few offerings you can check out throughout this festival. Dates: October 14th – 15th    Click here to visit their website.
