Cleveland Bakeries to Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

Donuts and cannoli's and croissants-these are a few of our favorite things! Craving some baked goods? Read on to learn about local Cleveland bakeries. White Flower Cake Shoppe has the cutest cupcakes (and you can make a shopping trip to Beachwood Mall or Legacy Village while you’re there!). Presti’s and Corbo’s are also great stops if you’re in Little Italy. Finish off a plate of spaghetti and meatballs then head on over for some sweet treats!
If you’re spending the day in Little Italy and looking for some sweet treats, you must go to Presti’s Bakery! Fresh bread, donuts, cookies, cakes and pastries galore; all made by hand using the same recipes and techniques as when it first opened in 1903. Begin your visit to Presti’s with a few of their premade food items including salads, pizza, stromboli, and so much more. We love their spinach bread (especially when they heat it up for a few minutes!) Followed with some yummy pastry’s, you can’t go wrong!
Specializing in delicately designed cakes and cupcakes, White Flower Cake Shoppe has two locations: Solon & Beachwood. Be sure to try their bright colored buttercream icing-it won’t disappoint! They also offer classes where you can learn decorating techniques. A perfect place for a girls night out, they you can bring your own beverages and spend some time with your friends learning how to make buttercream flowers. Such a fun activity that’s unique and different!
Another bakery to check out in Little Italy is Corbo’s. Located among several great Italian restaurants, Corbo’s is the perfect place to stop in and grab some cannoli’s after some chicken parm or pizza at a neighboring eatery. Cupcakes, cookies, and cakes (even cassata-YUM) there’s something for everyone at Corbo’s! We recommend stopping in and picking up a big box of cookies. Their pizzelles are delicious!
Offering breakfast items, paninis, and crepes, Luna Bakery is the perfect place to spend the day enjoying a great read or catching up on some work. Start your day with homemade granola while you cozy up by the window. Later, satisfy your sweet tooth with a piece of cheesecake or a macaron. It’s also a great place to check out cakes for special events-their designs are super pretty and perfect for any occasion!
Reward yourself after your power vinyasa class at Yoga Roots with a treat at On the Rise Bakery across the street. Offering multiple flavors of croissants as well as many types of breads, there are so many yummy options! Their sticky buns and blondies are two of our fave treats-we love stopping at On the Rise whenever we’re near. It’s hard to pass them up!
With its carefully crafted cakes, pastries, cookies, and chocolates, Michael Angelo’s Bakery in Broadview Heights is the perfect place to satisfy your sweets craving. Offering endless possibilities including macarons, cheesecakes, cannolis, and custard puffs, Michael Angelo’s makes it so hard to choose. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, check out their website; they list their full menu and offer online ordering that caters to their customers that are not located near their bakery.
Offering over 60 flavors of macarons, Coquette Patisserie is a cute French bakery located in Cleveland. Tip: check their website for their macaron flavors. If they don’t have the flavor you’re craving in store, special order them! They’re constantly changing out their flavors and offer 6+ new flavors each week. Our favorites are the drunken Ohio sour cherry, strawberry basil, and Bellini. DROOLING.

A cute bakery located in Lakewood, Blackbird Baking Co. is the perfect place to pick up a bread loaf or a few delicious desserts to share with friends.
